Student Support Camp was organised at Government Degree College, Saraigarh-Bhapatiahi, Supaul, with the primary objective of providing students with timely assistance and guidance on academic and administrative matters. A large number of students attended the camp and sought information and support regarding various issues related to their studies and college-related requirements.
One-Stop Assistance for Students and Better Coordination with Administration
The Student Support Camp provided students with an opportunity to raise their concerns directly and receive necessary guidance at a single platform. Nodal Officer Chitra Sakshi said the initiative was intended to make essential support more accessible to students and ensure that their genuine concerns were addressed as quickly as possible.
She urged students to communicate their problems openly and make full use of the facilities and assistance available through the camp. She also assured them that their concerns would be considered seriously and that efforts would be made to resolve them at the earliest possible opportunity.
Representing the local administration, S.I. Varsha Kumari interacted with the students and advised them to immediately contact the emergency helpline 112 in case they face any external or emergency-related problem requiring police assistance. Her interaction also aimed to make students aware of the appropriate channel for seeking help in situations requiring immediate intervention.
College Principal Prof. (Dr.) Md. Ehsan said students are one of the most important stakeholders of any educational institution and that their academic progress, convenience and welfare remain among the institution’s key priorities. He said such initiatives can help strengthen communication between students and the administration while creating a more responsive institutional environment.
The Principal further advised students to present their concerns in a disciplined manner and to bring the necessary documents whenever they approach the administration regarding academic or administrative matters. He emphasised that proper documentation can help officials understand individual cases and facilitate their timely resolution.
During the camp, students were provided with relevant information, guidance and assistance according to their respective requirements. Faculty members, non-teaching staff and officials concerned played an important role in ensuring the smooth conduct of the programme.
The Student Support Camp concluded with an emphasis on maintaining regular communication between students and the college administration so that genuine concerns can be identified and addressed without unnecessary delay.
