Tower Drama unfolded in Bihar’s Vaishali district in a shocking incident that left locals stunned and authorities scrambling for action. A young woman climbed atop a 100-foot-high electric transmission tower, demanding that the man she loved agree to marry her. She threatened to jump if her demand was not fulfilled, turning the situation into a tense rescue operation.
According to reports, the incident stemmed from a personal dispute between the woman and her boyfriend, who had reportedly refused to marry her. In a desperate move, she scaled a high-voltage tower carrying approximately 1.32 lakh volts, holding a mobile phone and repeatedly issuing threats of suicide. The Tower Drama continued for nearly nine hours, drawing a massive crowd of onlookers.
As the situation escalated, local police and electricity department officials were alerted immediately. Power supply to the tower was cut off to prevent any fatal accident. Police officials, including local sub-inspectors, made continuous efforts to persuade her to come down safely. Despite repeated appeals, she remained adamant and continued to threaten self-harm.
With time running out and darkness approaching, authorities arranged additional lighting at the site to continue rescue efforts. In a strategic move, police assured her that her boyfriend would be brought to the spot and that steps would be taken to address her demand. Eventually, the युवक was traced and brought to the location.
After prolonged negotiations and careful handling of the emotionally charged situation, rescue teams finally managed to bring the woman down safely from the tower. The incident ended without any loss of life, thanks to the coordinated efforts of the police and emergency responders.
