WBSU Admissions 2025 have officially begun at West Bengal State University (WBSU), Barasat, for the academic session 2025–2027. The university has invited online applications for its postgraduate programmes, with special emphasis on the Department of Urdu — a discipline deeply rooted in the subcontinent’s cultural and literary heritage. This department not only offers a deeper understanding of the language and literature but also sharpens critical thinking, research skills, and literary appreciation.
Urdu Postgraduate Programme
The two-year MA Urdu course covers a wide range of subjects, including classical and modern literature, linguistics, criticism and research, literary movements, and major genres.
