Achievement: Muslim Candidates Shine in UPSC Results as Over 50 Secure Success

Achievement is the word that best describes the latest results of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination. The final list released on Friday highlights the success of hundreds of aspirants who cleared one of the toughest competitive examinations in the country. Among them, Muslim candidates have made a significant impact, with more than fifty names appearing in the selection list.

This achievement also reflects the growing participation of Muslim youth in India’s administrative services. Despite intense competition and limited opportunities, candidates from different regions have managed to secure impressive ranks, demonstrating determination and academic excellence.

Bihar’s Strong Presence in the Top Ranks

Civil service

Bihar emerged as one of the strongest performers in this year’s results. Candidates from the state secured an impressive share of top positions.

Muzaffarpur’s Raghav Jhunjhunwala became the state topper by securing All India Rank 4. Several other candidates from Bihar also made it into the top twenty. Ujjwal Priyank from Vaishali secured 10th rank, while Yashasvi Rajvardhan from Saran achieved 11th rank.

Similarly, Monika Srivastava from Aurangabad secured 16th rank, and Raviraj from Nawada obtained 20th rank. With five candidates in the top twenty, Bihar has captured nearly a quarter of the leading positions in the merit list.

Other candidates from the state also performed well. Ishitv Anand from Pandarak in Patna district secured 50th rank, while Akash Kumar from Patna’s Kuthoul village achieved 101st rank.

Meanwhile, Abhishek Singh Chauhan, son of Nalanda Open University Registrar Prof. Abhay Kumar Singh, secured 102nd rank, further adding to the state’s success story.

Muslim Candidates’ Achievement in the UPSC List

One of the most notable aspects of this year’s result is the strong achievement of Muslim candidates across the country. More than 50 Muslim aspirants have successfully cleared the prestigious examination, highlighting a rising trend of representation in India’s civil services.Among the top performers, AR Rajah Mohaideen secured an impressive All India Rank 7, making him one of the highest-ranked Muslim candidates this year. Other notable achievers include Ifra Shams Ansari (Rank 24), Nabiya Parvez (Rank 29), Hassan Khan (Rank 95), Arfa Usmani (Rank 124), and Saima Seraj Ahmed (Rank 135).Further down the list, candidates such as Wasim Ur Rahman, Sophia Siddiqui, Towseef Ahmad Ganaie, Mantasha, Asad Aqeel, and Md Ishteyaque Rahman also secured places in the merit list.

The list of successful Muslim candidates continues with several promising names including Mohammed Ashmil Shah, Jaseela Jannath, Shahida Begum, Shadab Ali Khan, Muhammed Swalah, and Shoaib.

Other successful candidates include Sheik Mohamed Habisudeen, Minhaj Shakeel, Gulfiza, Hashmi Mohammad Umar, Sharukh Khan, Asna Anwar, Muneeb Afzal Parrah, and Azeem Ahmad. The list further includes Saista Parwin, Noor Alam, Mohd Irfan Kayamkhani, Mohsina Bano, Ghulam Maya Din, Danish Rabbani Khan, Md Nayab Anjum, Mohd Abuzar Ansari, Insa Khan, and Abdul Sufiyan. Other selected candidates include Fairuz Fathima, Mohamed Hashim, Muhammed Suhail, Thousif Ulla Khan, Shiyad, Koh-E-Safa, Sana Azmi, Yassar Ahmed Bhatti, Ghulam Haider, Mohamed Shezin, Mohd Ajaz-ul-Rehman, Azhar Asif Khan, Abdulla Afridh, Md Shahid Raza Khan, and Irfan Ahmed Lone.

A Sign of Changing Aspirations

The UPSC results this year reflect more than individual success stories. They highlight the growing aspiration among young Indians to join public service and contribute to governance.

The increasing number of Muslim candidates clearing the exam also indicates a positive shift toward greater participation in the country’s administrative structure. For many communities and regions, these achievements serve as powerful examples for the next generation of aspirants.
