Inheritance is now at the center of a bitter legal battle. Samaira and Kiaan, children of the late Sunjay Kapur and Karisma Kapoor, have filed a lawsuit in Delhi High Court. They say their stepmother, Priya Sachdev, forged their father’s will and excluded them from his massive ₹30,000 crore estate.
In court documents, the siblings argue the purported will is not valid—it’s forged and concocted to benefit Priya Sachdev. They contend that while their grandmother, Rani Kapur, was still grieving Sunjay’s sudden death, she was coerced into signing papers she didn’t understand. Those papers now serve as the basis for the contested will.
The children are asking the court to investigate these claims and declare the allegedly forged will void. They want rightful inclusion in their father’s estate, saying no child should be disinherited by deceit. Legal proceedings are underway as the court evaluates evidence and hears arguments from all sides.
