Box Office : Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty starrer continues its unstoppable march, single screens roar while multiplexes stay strong

Box Office Rampage is the only phrase that truly captures the phenomenal run of Border 2 in Indian cinemas. The war drama, led by Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty, continues to dominate the box office with remarkable consistency. As per early trade estimates, the film has earned between ₹21 crore and ₹23 crore on its fifth day, pushing its total domestic collection to an impressive ₹215 crore.

The Box Office Rampage shows no signs of slowing down. Riding on extraordinary word-of-mouth and massive audience support, the film is now firmly on track to wrap up its first week at around ₹250 crore. The response from mass belts has been particularly explosive, with single-screen theatres reporting record-breaking occupancies for five consecutive days. This overwhelming reception has already encouraged the makers to officially greenlight the third installment of the franchise.

While the interiors are driving volume, urban centres are contributing solid numbers too. Nearly 45 percent of the film’s total earnings are coming from leading multiplex chains such as PVR Inox and Cinepolis. Trade analysts believe the film will comfortably enter the ₹300 crore club by the end of its second weekend, before setting its sights on the ₹400 crore and even ₹500 crore milestones in the weeks ahead.

Directed by Anurag Singh and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Border 2 has delivered a thunderous start to 2026 for the Hindi film industry. The film has not only revived large-scale theatrical momentum but has also laid a strong foundation for upcoming big-ticket releases like Dhurandhar 2, Ramayana, and King, all of which are now expected to chase new box office benchmarks.
