Time to Save Democracy — that was the resounding message from senior INDIA alliance leader Shamim Ahmed, who addressed a series of massive public gatherings across Bihar’s Chhapra district on Saturday. From morning till evening, he met people in various areas of the Garhka Assembly constituency, urging them to rise above political deals and vote for unity and justice.
Speaking passionately, he said, “This is not a time for bargaining or political trading — this is the time to save democracy and protect Hindu-Muslim unity.”
“Stand United to Defend Democracy and Brotherhood”
Shameem Ahmad emphasized that citizens must vote on real issues — democracy, employment, and the protection of the Constitution — not on the politics of division. He added, “Bihar’s Muslims and all justice-loving citizens must not ask for a share anymore, but rather unite to defend democracy and brotherhood.”
Reiterating his message of harmony, he said the state now needs a government that walks with everyone, spreads love instead of hate, and delivers justice to all.
He further pointed out that the INDIA alliance has fielded Muslim candidates on 30 Assembly seats in Bihar, urging voters not to split their votes or fall for misleading propaganda by outside parties.
“Make Tejashwi Yadav Chief Minister to Bring Change”
In a powerful tone, Shameem Ahmad declared,“This is the time to save democracy and Hindu-Muslim unity. We must bring Tejashwi Yadav to power as Chief Minister — to form a government that listens to every voice, creates employment, and ensures dignity for all.”
The rally also saw Ejaz Khan appealing to voters to ensure a decisive victory for RJD candidates, while Mohammad Rafi shared the stage in support.
