Money Matters Spark Controversy
Prashant Kishore’s money is in the spotlight after his own statements and sharp questions from rivals. The Jansuraj founder said clearly, “I am not a thief. I pay taxes and share all details with the government.” Allegations against him led many to wonder where his money comes from, and Kishore has now addressed those doubts directly.
Kishore explained his money comes from consultancy work, not political funding. “In 2021-22, I earned nearly ₹241 crore from consultancy. Over ₹30 crore was paid as GST and ₹20 crore as income tax,” he said. He emphasized that his money is clean and that everything is paid according to law.
The Jansuraj chief highlighted that his money is being used for Bihar’s improvement. He has donated about ₹99 million from his own funds to support various welfare efforts. Kishore said, “Whatever I earn, I will keep spending on the people of Bihar. For example, Navayuga Construction paid me ₹11 crore for two hours of advice.”
Full Transparency Promised
He said, “I will keep using my money for Bihar’s progress, not for profit. I promise to keep every financial detail open and transparent for all.” Kishore stressed that his only aim is to bring positive change to Bihar.
